    Yes, I purchased untiltled property on Vieques in 2003. Am I suppose to apply for title. What steps should I be taking.

      Thank your for your question.

      Currently, it is hard to predict what the current administration will do and how it will go about it. In the past, individuals in your position would receive a letter from the Municipality notifying you about the availability of titles and what to do in this regards. The current administration has not issued new instructions on this regards, except to indicate that the title process approved and used by the previous administration is no longer valid.

      Alternatively, you may consider filing a petition with the Puerto Rico Court for title. On this subject, I refer you to my articles on this blog.
