El Quenepo is a fabulous restaurant located at El Malecón in La Esperanza, and during the course of this month (December 2008) Kate and Scott, the owners of El Quenepo, celebrate the first year in business.
Kate and Scote take personal pride in their creation, and everyone in the Lampón & Associates Family congratulate them for a very successful year and for making a difference within their new found home of Vieques.
The celebration is not only by Kate and Scott, but also by all with whom they share their success. For example, El Quenepo supports the fishermen from Vieques by purchasing and serving the “catch-of-the-day” locally on a daily basis, and by also providing employment to the wonderful staff members that professionally serve the clientele. Moreover, they have singlehandedly increased the bar for service and quality, which by itself ripples throughout the Vieques community for everyone’s benefit.
